OVERVIEW
The Hankook Ventus S1 Noble2 HRS (MOExtended) is a performance and high performance, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. This is the original equipment tire of select Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
The tire features a stronger internal structure which optimizes controllability. The steel belt and high-stiffness bead filler stabilize the footprint throughout the performance, which ensures its consistent road contact. In this manner, the tire is able to increase steering responsiveness and driving stability at all times. The shoulder blocks, with the sipe detail, firmly grip the road surface with extra biting edges, optimizing the cornering capability. The special aqua-hydro blocks shorten the braking distance by creating friction at the moment of braking.
The model’s equilibrium carcass line design maintains the ideal tire shape at all times. Since the tire does not deform under high speed pressure, it allows the tire to securely perform at its best capability. Additionally, the silica compound prevents heat build-up across the tread area. This combination significantly enhances performing durability, enabling the tire’s secure high speed drive.
Using a stronger structure also enables the tire’s limited, temporary performance in case of air pressure loss. When tire pressure loss occurs due to a puncture or some other damage, the tire can still be used. It can be driven for 50 miles, up to the speed of 50 mph. As a result, the vehicle will not be stranded on the side of the road. Instead, it can safely arrive at a nearby location where the damaged tire can be taken care of. Run flat tires should not be mounted on the same vehicle as regular tires as they have a stronger structure.
High driving comfort levels are guaranteed. The shoulder rib and optimized variable pitch arrangement of the tread pattern work together to minimize road noise levels. They effectively negate the sound waves generated and prevent airwaves from reaching the vehicle’s cabin. This prevents road disturbances from reaching the vehicle’s cabin, offering a quiet driving experience.
The Ventus S1 Noble2 HRS (MOExtended) also promotes excellent all season traction. The silica compound and the optimal footprint improve the dry, wet, and winter weather grip. Durable compound elements enhance the rubber’s flexibility, while the tread firmly grips the road surface. Circumferential grooves disperse water and slush from the footprint, effectively avoiding hydroplaning in the process.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
